So, picture this: I’m cruising through the morning traffic, right? The usual boring commute gets a major upgrade when I tune into Gary Vaynerchuk dropping truth bombs in my car. He’s all about attention, and it hits me like a ton of bricks – every single thing I’ve ever done in my life is basically me craving but also hiding from… attention. Now I see that I’ve only just wanted to vibe with my real self and engage in life while fearing failure and judgment.

Thinking back, I remember when I was a kid, I was always thinking about possibilities and opportunities. I was always trying to start some kind of business and get friends involved. I wanted to connect people and create something that would make them happy. But somewhere along the line, I started shying away from doing anything that would attract attention, worried about failing and of what people might think of me and because of this, I have kept the world from seeing all that I have to offer.

Now, thanks to Gary, and other amazing mentors, I’m beginning to revive that CEO spirit. That brave little entrepreneur is finally starting to emerge once again. The challenge? Figuring out how to spotlight the real me in a world full of noise. It’s not about being attention-hungry; it’s about crafting a story that screams “This is me!” and then using that attention to create positive change in ways that fit perfectly with who I am. I’m ready to ditch the limitations and embrace this exciting journey of showing my true colors, online and off.

Creating a new version of me is not so much about becoming someone I am not, it’s about the character I’m putting out there as an extension of my true self whom I have been hiding for too long. I am building a personal brand and becoming the me who I have always known has been just waiting to emerge and come to life.

My mission? To become a social media ninja, learning all about different platforms, and then being and inspiration and a guide for women over 40. I want to inspire and encourage women who, like me, are wondering, “How do I rock this next phase of life?”

As I roll into work, I’m pumped about the possibilities. Turning this car chat into a killer essay or blog series? Heck yes! Life’s brimming with opportunities, and I’m on the brink of a seriously exciting chapter. In a nutshell, I’m giving myself the green light to be a different online version of me – one that’s all me. The road ahead is bursting with chances, and I’m ready to grab them, lift up others, and leave my mark. Those tears? Not sad ones – just overwhelmed with gratitude for the epic journey ahead. Life is awesome, and the options are endless!
